Job Summary:
As a Hunter Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and closing new sales opportunities within the K-12 education market. This role is commission-only and requires an individual who thrives on autonomy, is fearless in seeking out new opportunities, and has a passion for building relationships with school district leaders. The ideal candidate will be comfortable traveling at least 50% of the time to meet with educational stakeholders, attend conferences, and establish meaningful connections across the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hunt for New Sales: Actively research and identify potential clients, focusing on school districts, superintendents, and educational leaders.
- Travel 50% of the Time: Attend on-site meetings, conferences, and district events to pitch Rex K-12 products and services.
- Develop and Manage Pipeline: Build a robust sales funnel and use CRM tools to track progress and follow up with prospects.
- Close Deals: Present compelling solutions tailored to district needs and close high-value sales deals.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the Rex K-12 product and marketing teams to align solutions with client requirements.
- Meet and Exceed Sales Goals: Hit monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets to maximize commission potential.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in B2B sales; EdTech or K-12 education experience is a plus.
- Self-starter with a hunter mindset—motivated by challenges and new opportunities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Ability and willingness to travel at least 50% of the time to meet clients and attend events.
- Comfortable working in a commission-only role with unlimited earning potential.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage sales pipelines and reports.
- Passionate about education and aligned with Rex K-12’s mission to end generational poverty through technology education.

Salary
$30,000 - $200,000 per year
